Audrey Eschright
DeveloperAudrey trained as a geographer at the University of Washington before landing in web development. She has been making websites of various sorts since the mid-'90s, and now combines her interests in technology and community development by working on projects such as Calagator, a wiki-like calendar aggregator, and helping organize user groups and events in her hometown of Portland, Oregon. She is co-chair of the Open Source Bridge Conference, and coordinates WhereCamp Portland, an unconference where geo-geeks swap ideas and experiment with new location-based technologies.
Other side projects, like Portland's food cart map, have attracted the attention of Ultimate Northwest Magazine, which named her one of one of Portland’s 25 Most Creative Thinkers.
